Wave Health Partners is excited to share a new Emergency Medicine Department Chair physician locum opportunity.
Position Highlights:
- Location: Northern New Jersey
- Compensation: $575,000–$625,000/year
- Facility: 762-bed, non-profit, acute care hospital (Level 1 Trauma)
- Staffing: 75 Physicians (FT, PT, PRN) and 46 APPs (FT, PT, PRN)
- Responsibilities: Oversee the adult and pediatric ED operations and academic programs (residency & fellowships); interface with hospital departments and C-suite
- Shift Expectations: 48–72 clinical hours/month, with the remainder dedicated to administrative duties
- EMR: Epic
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey medical license
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- BC/EM (ABEM or AOBEM) with EM residency training
- 15 years of ED Director and ED Academic experience
