We are seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a Level IV Trauma Center in Texas. This is a long-term opportunity with a September 2026 start and potential for 6–12 months of coverage.

Schedule: 7a–7p and 7p–7a

Coverage: 24-hour physician coverage

Annual ED Volume: Approximately 31,000 visits

Trauma Level: IV
-
EMR: Medhost
-
Travel & Lodging: Provided

Privileging: Approximately 90 days, with expedited privileges available for clean files

MD or DO
-
Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery
-
Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Emergency Medicine or a related specialty
-
Board Certified in EM, FM, IM, or General Surgery
-
Active, unrestricted Texas medical license required prior to presentation

Active Texas DEA with a Texas address and Schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV & V
EM Board Certified: No additional certifications required.
Non-EM Board Certified: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required.
Credentialing Requirements-
Two years of case logs

Two years of CME/CEU documentation

$1M/$3M malpractice coverage

TB within 12 months
-
COVID vaccination

Flu vaccination within 12 months
