- Job Setting: Level II Trauma Center; 342-bed hospital; Annual ED Volume of 47,000; EMR: Epic
- Types of Cases: High-volume Emergency Department
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified through one of the following:
- American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
- American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
- American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS)
- American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- ATLS
- PALS (if not ABEM Board Certified)
- NRP (required for non-ABEM providers)
- ECFMG certification required for international medical graduates
- Licensure:
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee Medical License
- Active DEA registration with Tennessee address
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required hospital privileges
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
- Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine Residency (3 years)
- New graduates accepted; Emergency Medicine residency graduates within the past 12 months are eligible
