JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or other eligible boards (ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, AOA)
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Tennessee Medical License
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA registration with Tennessee address required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS required; PALS and NRP as applicable
• Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine; new graduates accepted
• Other Qualifications: Case logs from previous two years, documentation of immunizations, TB test

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency care in a Level I Trauma Center
• Collaborate closely with advanced practice providers and serve as a supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
• Manage major trauma emergencies and complex patient care needs across the region
• Satisfy all hospital credentialing and privileging requirements
