Exciting Emergency Medicine Opportunity — New Graduates Encouraged to Apply!

Holston Valley Medical Center is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established, collaborative Emergency Medicine team in Kingsport, Tennessee.

This opportunity offers physicians the chance to provide comprehensive emergency care while working alongside an experienced team and serving as a supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

• EM residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered
• Established Emergency Medicine program
• Collaborative, team-based practice environment
• Opportunity to supervise and mentor APPs
• Comprehensive Emergency Medicine practice

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program of at least 3 years
• Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
• Active DEA registration with a Tennessee address
• DEA Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5
• ECFMG certification required for international medical graduates

Must have successfully passed a specialty board examination through one of the following:

ABEM | ABFM | ABIM | ABPS | AOA

• ACLS
• ATLS
• PALS — required if not EM board certified
• NRP — required for non-ABEM providers

• MMR and Varicella vaccination documentation or positive immunity titers
• Two-step TB testing within the previous 12 months
• QuantiFERON Gold accepted per facility requirements
• Chest X-ray within the last 3 months if TB test is positive
• Case logs from the previous 2 years
• Special procedure training documentation, if applicable
• Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME required at initial appointment and every 2 years thereafter

$1,000,000 per claim / $3,000,000 aggregate
