Med Ninjas is seeking a Emergency Medicine Physician for long term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility located in Seattle, WA
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from ASAP to Ongoing through 2027
This assignment includes Emergency Department, onsite hospital coverage, evaluation and treatment of emergency conditions, varied shifts, and weekend coverage.

Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician

Shift: Varied shifts — 7a-4p, 11a-8p, 2p-11p, 6p-3a or 10p-7a depending on facility needs
Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialed
End Date: Ongoing through 2027

Position Details:
Patient Population: Mostly medical, low trauma, medium to high acuity; 8-14 patients/day
Setting: Emergency Department
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients. Work collaboratively with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions. Ensure effective patient handoffs and communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: RNs
Days Per Month: Full Time; ideal provider available for 2 weeks of coverage per month (15 shifts) ongoing
On-Call/Weekends: Weekend coverage required; no on-call requirement

Requirements

• Board Certified (ABEM/AOBEM) or Board Eligible
• WA License
• Emergency Medicine Residency/Fellowship; minimum 2 years Emergency Medicine experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA; clean background/malpractice
