Clinical Role

• Start date: December 8, 2026
• 3-month assignment
• Coverage equivalent to 2 FTEs needed
• Approximately 19,000 projected annual ED visits
• Approximately 52 patients per day
• Free-standing Emergency Department setting
• Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends

Schedule & Coverage

• 12-hour shifts required at affiliated free-standing Emergency Departments
• Main hospital may offer shifts shorter than 12 hours
• Preference for providers willing to cover both the main hospital and affiliated Emergency Departments

Practice Setting & Support

• 12 private patient care rooms
• Dedicated trauma room
• Dedicated pediatric treatment room
• Patients requiring inpatient admission are transferred with coordinated handoff to hospitalists, intensivists, and specialists

Requirements & Credentialing

• ABEM/AOBEM board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians accepted
• Board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians may also be considered with a minimum of 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Active Florida license required
• ACLS and PALS required
• Site director interview required
