A 286-bed Level III hospital in the Orangeburg, SC area needs an EM physician, coverage runs November through January with a real possibility to extend, ongoing until an FTE is hired. $325/hour, no call. Must be willing to work some nights.

Job Responsibilities

Cover the main hospital ED (about 60,000 ER patients annually) and cross-credential for a free-standing ER pavilion nearby. Shift times vary: 6a-2p, 7a-7p, 2p-10p, or 7p-7a.

Qualifications

Active South Carolina license required. Daily OT after 12 hours worked, weekly OT after 168 hours.

Working Hours

Shift times vary: 6a-2p, 7a-7p, 2p-10p, or 7p-7a. No call. Must be open to nights.

Skills

High-volume emergency medicine, free-standing ER coverage, cross-site credentialing.
