Assignment Details Facility: Parkview Regional Hospital Location: Mexia, Texas Coverage Dates: November 1–2, 2026 Duration: Limited to these specific dates; ongoing coverage is not stated Shift Hours: Not provided Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours with in-house coverage Setting: Inpatient emergency department Admissions: Required Credentialing: Approximately 15 days Temporary Privileges: Available EMR: MEDHOST ### Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician Active Texas medical license Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Comfortable working without APP coverage Ability to complete expedited credentialing ### Clinical Details Level IV trauma facility 10 emergency department beds Approximately 30 patients per shift Approximately two admissions per shift Rounding includes unassigned patients Support staff includes two RNs and one office staff member No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities No newborn deliveries received in the ED No Labor and Delivery department Listed specialty support services are not available 24/7
