Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
Nights only position with 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM shift changesBoard Certified/Board Eligible via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) required
ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Emergency department projecting 8,500 anticipated visits in year one, approximately 23 visits per day
24 hours of physician coverage with coverage adjustments made as necessary based on patient flow
Fully equipped trauma bay available
Separate adult and pediatric waiting areas
11 private treatment rooms
Ambulance bay for EMS access
Patients requiring inpatient admission will be transported to main campus with seamless care handoff to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists

This is a Joint Commission accredited medical/surgical hospital dedicated to serving and improving the health of the surrounding community. The facility offers a comprehensive range of services including 24-hour emergency department care, advanced technology operating rooms, obstetrics and maternity care, a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), radiology imaging services, physical and occupational therapy, an Intensive Care Unit, cardiac care, inpatient psychiatric behavioral health services, and a wide range of surgical services. The facility is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, a designated Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG), and is certified by the National Institute for Care of Hospitalized Elderly (NICHE).
