Pay: Up to $325/hour

Qualifications
- Emergency Medicine Physician
- ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified preferred
- Providers who are not Board Certified may be considered with current ATLS certification
- No malpractice history preferred
- Appropriate state licensure/credentials required for assignment

Job Responsibilities
Perform patient evaluations, physical examinations, diagnoses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients.
Order and interpret diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, and imaging.
Perform standard Emergency Medicine procedures as clinically indicated.
Prescribe medications and coordinate admissions, transfers, consultations, and discharges.
Collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
Maintain timely and accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR.
Follow facility protocols, patient-safety standards, and Emergency Medicine best practices.
Provide scheduled locum coverage based on full-time or part-time availability.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted medical license; Texas license preferred/required based on facility credentialing.
ABEM or AOBEM Board Certification preferred.
Providers who are not Board Certified may be considered with current ATLS certification.
Emergency Medicine experience required.
No malpractice history preferred.
Current DEA registration, as required.
Current BLS/ACLS certifications as required by the facility.
Comfortable documenting in Meditech EMR.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an Emergency Department team.
Available for full-time or part-time locum coverage.
