JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or BC/BE Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with EM experience (AAPS/ABPS not accepted)
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Florida Medical License; Active DEA with Florida address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Florida address required
• Certifications: ATLS (unless ABEM certified), ACLS, PALS
• Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required for FM/IM candidates
• Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination within last 12 months, TB screening within last 12 months, COVID documentation, Case logs and CME documentation from past 2 years

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED
• Perform all DOP-listed procedures
• Manage patient flow and stabilize acute cases
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff
• Document patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR
