We’re seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine physician to join a long-standing emergency medicine group located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. This role offers a stable practice environment, strong clinical support, and the chance to practice in a uniquely historic, waterfront community known for year-round recreation and exceptional quality of life.
Highlights:
- Emergency Medicine opportunity with a respected, established emergency medicine group
- Newer emergency department renovated/expanded in 2017, featuring 18 beds
- Annual ED volume of approximately 16,000 visits
- Solo physician coverage with advanced practitioner support daily from 10 AM–10 PM
- Shifts run 7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM, with overlap for smooth handoffs
- Separate walk-in clinic across the street, staffed by NP/PA from 9 AM–7 PM
- Strong specialist support available, including psychiatry
- Trauma team available and required to be on-site within 20 minutes
- Highly competitive compensation plan
