Job description

Job description A two-site LifePoint Health system in Texas needs one locum EM physician to cover three shifts across two facilities in November. The facility will not split this across multiple providers, one physician covers all three.

Job Responsibilities

Provide emergency department coverage for an inpatient, Level 4 trauma department seeing approximately 30 patients per shift. Manage admissions as needed. Work alongside 2 RNs and 1 office staff. Chart in MEDHOST.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible. Active Texas license required, cannot wait on licensure. ACLS, BLS, and PALS required. Temporary privileges available. Credentialing runs approximately 15 days.

Working Hours

Parkview: Nov 1, 24-hour shift, 8am to Nov 2 8am. Parkview: Nov 27, 24-hour shift, 8am to Nov 28 8am. Ennis: Nov 28, 12-hour shift, 6pm to Nov 29 6am.
