Job description Two LifePoint Health facilities in Texas need Emergency Medicine coverage in November 2026. Pay is $310/hr. Coverage spans multiple shifts: a 24-hour shift November 1 (8am-8am), a 24-hour shift November 27 (8am-8am), and a 12-hour shift at the second facility November 28 (6pm-6am). Level 4 trauma, 10 beds, approximately 30 patients per shift, admissions required. MEDHOST EMR. Local candidates only, no travel or lodging support listed. Fast 15-day credentialing.

Job Responsibilities

Provide ED coverage including both scheduled clinical hours and in-house call. Manage admissions, roughly 2 per shift. Round on unassigned patients as needed.

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible, required. Active Texas license required, no willingness to wait on licensing, no reimbursement for licensing costs. ACLS, BLS, PALS required.

Working Hours

November 1 (24-hour shift, 8am-8am), November 27 (24-hour shift, 8am-8am), November 28 (12-hour shift, 6pm-6am).

Skills

Comfortable in a small, high-volume ED relative to bed capacity (30 patients per shift, 10 beds). MEDHOST EMR.
