Job Details:

• Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join the team for a new free-standing emergency department
  
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
  
• EMR: MEDITECH
  
• Minimum 3 years full-time emergency room work and 6,000 hours in the ED required to be considered
  
• Will accept board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine only if the candidate has 6,000 hours of ER experience and full-time emergency room work in the three years preceding application
  
• Must have active ACLS and PALS certifications
  
• ATLS is recommended but not absolutely required
  
• 12-bed private exam rooms with a designated trauma room
  
• Annual emergency department volume of 11,000
  
• Physician daily coverage: 24 hours
  
• Patients per hour: 1.3
  
• Diagnostic imaging on-site including X-rays and CT scans with and without contrast
  
• Ultrasound on call 24/7 with a 30-minute response time
  
• Laboratory services available on-site
