Position: Physician – Region 1
Location: Lima, OH 45802
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay rate: $120- $130/hr. on W2
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: Day: Monday–Friday; no nights or weekends
Duration: 6+ months, with potential extension or permanent hire
Start Date: TBD, upon completion of credentialing

The physician will work alongside multiple Nurse Practitioners and may care for specialty populations, including individuals with dementia and developmental disabilities.
A preferred schedule is five 8-hour shifts per week, with some flexibility based on facility needs. The physician will see approximately 2.5 patients per hour.
• Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe and manage medications and treatments.
• Complete medical evaluations, reports, and required patient documentation.
• Make referrals for specialized care when appropriate.
• Document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians, Nurse Practitioners, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities and peer reviews.

• Active Ohio Medical License, as applicable
• Healthcare-professional level CPR/BLS certification
• Doctoral Degree in Medicine

Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physician in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine with experience in primary care or hospital medicine to provide full-time, on-site medical care to a male incarcerated population.The physician will work alongside multiple Nurse Practitioners and may care for specialty populations, including individuals with dementia and developmental disabilities.
