Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician
Fortuna, California | Northern California
We are seeking 2 Emergency Medicine physicians to provide locum tenens coverage at hospitals in the Fortuna/Redwood area of Northern California.
Night-shift availability is required for consideration. Providers who are only available for day shifts will not be considered at this time.
Position Highlights
• Specialty: Emergency Medicine
• Location: Fortuna, CA
• Coverage: Emergency Department
• Number of Providers Needed: 2
• Average ED Volume: Approximately 110 patients per 24 hours
• Shifts may include:
o 11:00 pm - 8 am or 9pm - 6am
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per shift
Requirements
• Active California medical license required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
• ABEM or AOBEM certified
• Updated CV required at presentation
• CV must include all current and previous hospital affiliations
• DEA
• BLS and ACLS
