Approximately 55,000 annual ED visits
Meditech EMR
APP coverage available
Approximately 30% admission rate
Hospitalist/Admitting Service handles admissions
EM is not responsible for codes
Deliveries sent directly to Labor & Delivery
30-minute on-call response time
Requirements
ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required
Clean background
Updated CV with no employment gaps exceeding 30 days
Current-month NPDB Self-Query required at presentation
