Iowa EM– Locum Tenens
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for flexible locum tenens coverage in Iowa.
Position Details
- Schedule: 4–12 shifts per month
- Shifts: 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, 1:30 PM–10:30 PM, or 9:30 PM–6:30 AM
- EMR: EPIC | Dictation: Dragon | No scribes
- Annual Volume: Approximately 22,000 visits
- Routine ER duties and codes; limited trauma responsibilities
- APP Support: 12–20 hours per day
- Easy transfer center process
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active Iowa medical license and DEA
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Actively practicing EM within the past 12 months or completed an EM residency within the past 6 months
- Must pass credentialing and background check; license suspensions and certain DUI history may be disqualifying
