Credentialing: Approximately 60 days

Position Details
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in IA.
Shift Times:
6:30 AM-2:30 PM
1:30 PM-10:30 PM
9:30 PM-6:30 AM
Responsibilities :
Routine ER duties and codes
Limited trauma responsibilities for locum providers
Annual ED volume: Approximately 22,000 patients
EMR: Epic
Dictation: Dragon, no scribes
APP coverage: 12-20 hours
Easy transfer center process
Requirements :
Updated CV with no gaps of 30 days or more
NPDB Self-Query pulled within the last 30 days
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Active Iowa medical license or IMLC
Active Iowa DEA
ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required
Completion of an ACGME/AOA-approved Emergency Medicine residency program
Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician within the last 12 months, or completion of an Emergency Medicine residency within the last 6 months
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60 days
Case logs from previous facilities must be submitted ASAP
Candidates must be able to meet all facility credentialing deadlines
