Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
NP or PA with a minimum of 2 years of extensive emergency department experience requiredNo new graduates will be considered at this time
Shift times are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM
All dates and times needed; shifts are typically morning and mid shift
No call required
Facility operates with 10 beds and 1 trauma bay
Daily census of approximately 80 patients per day with mostly Level 4 and Level 5 acuity patients
Support staff includes 24-hour physician coverage, 2-4 nurses, and 1 imaging tech available 24/7
Basic emergency department procedures required including laceration repair, splinting, and incision and drainage
Procedure management required; ventilator management is not required
No rounding or ICU coverage required
Outpatient referrals handled for follow-up cases
Ongoing need with multiple open positions available

This freestanding emergency department is affiliated with a Level 2 trauma center and provides comprehensive emergency care services to the surrounding community. The facility is staffed with 24-hour physician coverage and dedicated nursing and imaging support to ensure high-quality patient care around the clock.
