Key Responsibilities for Emergency Medicine Physician:
- Provide urgent care in a busy ED handling 50,000+ annual visits.
- Manage acute cases including trauma, cardiac emergencies, strokes, and pediatric emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care.
- Oversee ER operations during assigned shifts (12-hour options available).
Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM).
- Active Alabama medical license (or eligible); DEA certification.
- 2+ years ER experience preferred.
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS certification required.
