Job description Conemaugh Nason Medical Center in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania is seeking ABEM board certified emergency medicine physicians for ongoing shift coverage from October 2026 through June 2027. Day and night 12-hour shifts available. If you hold a Pennsylvania medical license and ABEM board certification, you clear the two gates that filter most candidates before they start. Credentialing is achievable in time for the October dates if you move quickly. $325/hr on a LocusMart bid system.

Job Responsibilities

Emergency department coverage on 12-hour shifts. 1 physician plus 1 APP per shift. Managing ED patients with an ADC of 44. No L&D obligation — if a delivery situation arises, deliver and transfer to Conemaugh when stable. Document on Epic. Collaborate with 2 RNs around the clock, triage RN mid-day, respiratory therapy, float RN, and nursing supervisor.

Qualifications

ABEM board certification required — no exceptions. Active Pennsylvania medical license required. Clean malpractice history and NPDB strongly preferred. Epic experience helpful. No BE accepted.

Working Hours

12-hour shifts: days 6am to 6pm, nights 6pm to 6am. Open dates available October 2026 through June 2027 across both day and night shifts with consistent availability each month. Flexible scheduling around existing commitments.
