A healthcare organization in Southern Louisiana is seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment. This opportunity provides hospital-based emergency medicine coverage with NP/PA support and a broad mix of emergency presentations. (Job ID: 50998)

- Assignment Length: Through September 25, 2026
- Setting: Hospital emergency department
- Scope: General emergency medicine, including trauma and non-trauma presentations
- Support: NP/PA coverage
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Completed Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine residency
- Active unrestricted Louisiana medical license or IMLC
- DEA with Louisiana address
- ACLS and PALS
- ATLS required if not ABEM certified
- Ability to supervise NP/PA providers as applicable
- Two years of case logs required
