Opportunity Highlights
- Ongoing coverage opportunity with potential to continue until a permanent provider is hired
- Flexible shift options:
- 6 AM–2 PM
- 7 AM–7 PM
- 2 PM–10 PM
- 7 PM–7 AM
- Must be willing to work some night shifts
- No call
- No floating
- Combination of hospital-based and freestanding ER coverage
- High-volume emergency department seeing approximately 60,000 patients annually
- Opportunity to work in a Level III setting
- Cross-credentialing required for coverage at the freestanding ER location
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care to adult and pediatric patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency department patients
- Manage a diverse range of acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with the emergency medicine and hospital teams
- Provide coverage across designated emergency care settings as needed
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active South Carolina medical license
- Emergency Medicine experience
- Willingness to work a combination of day, evening, and night shifts
- Prior locum/travel experience preferred
