Emergency Medicine | ASAP – Ongoing

WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing Emergency Medicine opportunity beginning ASAP. This assignment offers both day and night coverage in a lower-volume emergency department with solo physician coverage and no APC support.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: ASAP
• Coverage Type: Ongoing locums assignment
• Schedule: Days and nights
• Minimum Commitment: 3+ shifts per month
• Setting: Emergency Department
• ED Beds: 10
• Patient Volume: Approximately 13 patients per day
• Coverage Model: Solo physician coverage; no APC support
• EMR: Epic
• Distance Requirement: Provider must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
• Licensure: South Carolina license pending will be considered
• Credentialing: Clean files only

Clinical Scope

The physician will provide comprehensive Emergency Medicine services in a lower-volume emergency department. Because this is a solo coverage position with no APC support, candidates must be comfortable independently evaluating and treating patients across a broad range of emergency presentations.

Requirements

• Board Certified required
• ABEM or AOBEM certification only
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• ATLS required
• South Carolina medical license required; SC license pending will be considered
• Must be available for both day and night shifts
• Minimum commitment of 3 shifts per month
• Must live outside of 100 miles from the facility
• Clean files only
• Must be comfortable working independently without APC support
