WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine Physician for an ongoing Emergency Medicine opportunity beginning ASAP. This assignment offers both day and night coverage in a Level IV trauma center with approximately 25,000 annual ED visits.

• Schedule: Days and nights required
• Setting: Level IV Trauma Center
• ED Beds: 14
• Annual Volume: Approximately 25,000 visits
• Physician Coverage: 24 hours of MD coverage daily
• APP Coverage: 12 hours daily
• EMR: Medhost
• Credentialing: Clean files only
• Licensure: Texas license and DEA must be in hand

Clinical Scope

The physician will provide comprehensive Emergency Medicine services in a community-based emergency department. Candidates should be comfortable managing a broad range of emergency presentations and working collaboratively with APPs.

Requirements

• Board Certification required
• EM, FM, or IM physicians considered
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• ATLS required
• Active Texas medical license required
• Texas DEA required
• License and DEA must be in hand
• Clean files only
• Must be available for both day and night shifts
