HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Medical Director to lead a high-performing emergency medicine team on Florida's beautiful Emerald Coast.
Qualified Candidates:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Proven leadership experience in a comparable emergency department setting
Position Highlights:
- Permanent leadership opportunity
- Avg 60/40 split clinical/admin shifts
- Will be required to work at least 5-6 shifts clinically per month, depending on volume and needs

About the Emergency Department:
- 44-bed ED with Fast Track
- 55,000 annual patient visits
- 8 hours of dedicated pediatric ED coverage daily
- Affiliated freestanding EDs in Destin and Navarre
- Strong critical care and specialty support
About the Hospital:
- 309-bed Level II Trauma Center
- Certified Primary Stroke Center
- Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Emergency Medicine Residency Program coming soon
