• Locum Emergency Medicine opportunity starting October 26, 2026
• Coverage needed November through January with potential extension
• Ongoing coverage until a permanent physician is hired
• Main hospital is a 286 bed facility with Level III trauma services
• Approximately 60,000 ED visits annually
• Cross credentialing required for a nearby freestanding emergency department
• No on call requirement
• No floating required

Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate & treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Manage a broad range of acute medical conditions
• Provide coverage across scheduled emergency medicine shifts
• Work collaboratively with the emergency medicine team
• Provide care at both the main hospital & freestanding emergency department as needed
Qualifications
• ABEM certification preferred
• Active South Carolina medical license required
• Emergency Medicine experience required
• Must be comfortable working evening & night shifts
• Prior travel experience preferred
Working Hours
• 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
• 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
• 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Must be willing to work some nights
• Sunday–Saturday coverage
