A High-Compensation EM Opportunity Built Around Flexibility, Lifestyle & a Growing Hospital

If you are an Emergency Medicine physician looking for strong compensation without giving up control of your schedule, this Southern Kentucky opportunity deserves a closer look.

Join the Emergency Department of a growing regional hospital currently investing significantly in its facilities and services. A major expansion is underway that will nearly double the size of the Emergency Department—creating an excellent opportunity to join the team as the program enters its next stage of growth.

The Opportunity

  • $290/hour — Day shifts
  • $305/hour — Night shifts
  • $50,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment
  • Keep more of what you earn due to incredible tax benefits
  • Approximately 45,000 annual ED visits
  • 36 hours of physician coverage daily
  • 48 hours of APP coverage daily
  • Additional provider-in-triage coverage
  • Level IV Trauma Center
  • Stroke and STEMI capabilities
  • Epic EMR with Dragon
  • Fully-paid malpractice and tail coverage
  • Block scheduling attractive for physicians interested in commuting

A Department on the Move

The hospital is undertaking a major expansion that will grow the Emergency Department from approximately 27 beds to roughly 45 treatment spaces. This is not a stagnant program it is a hospital investing in its future and expanding its ability to serve the surrounding region.

For physicians interested in leadership, an Emergency Department Medical Director opportunity is also available.

Life Outside the ED

Kentucky offers an appealing alternative to larger metropolitan markets: affordable housing, short commutes, less traffic and immediate access to lakes, hiking, boating and outdoor recreation.

The community is also within reasonable driving distance of both Lexington and Knoxville, making it possible to enjoy a smaller-market lifestyle without feeling isolated.

Earn more than $430,000 in annual gross clinical compensation, before considering the sign-on incentive.

If you're open to considering a well-compensated Emergency Medicine opportunity where your schedule and quality of life can still matter, I'd welcome a confidential conversation.
