We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage in a newly remodeled Critical Access Hospital emergency department.

📍 Location: Devils Lake, ND
📅 Assignment: September 5 – December 16, 2026
🕐 Shift: 12-hour shifts, primarily 7 PM–7 AM
📌 Coverage Dates:

  • Sept 5–11
  • Oct 14–16
  • Nov 1–8
  • Dec 11–16

Position Highlights

  • Newly remodeled 8-bed Emergency Department
  • Average daily census: 20+ patients
  • Variety of patient acuity and presentations
  • Strong preference for providers available for night coverage
  • Hospitalist available in-house/on call for admissions
  • 24/7 radiology and laboratory support
  • Experienced ED nursing staff

Requirements

  • Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician
  • ATLS required
  • ACLS, PALS & NRP required
  • Comfortable working in a Critical Access/rural ED setting
