Permanent Full-Time Emergency Medicine Role in North Carolina
seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join collegial, hospital-based Emergency Department team. This is an independent hospital where physicians practice with true clinical autonomy in a supportive, patient-centered environment
Position Overview
- Shifts: 12-hour day (7A-7P) or night (7P-7A)
- Monthly shifts: 12
- Pay: $270 per hour (day shift), and $275 per hour (night shift)
- Coverage: 1 day physician, 1 night physician, strong PA support
- Hard sign-out at the end of each shift
- Annual ED volume: ~32,000 (~90-100 patients/day)
- Acuity: Average ESI 3-4
- 22-bed ED with hospitalist and 24/7 radiology coverage
- Air and ground transport support for high-acuity transfers
- Malpractice coverage with tail covered
- On-site specialties: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology
- Located 40 minutes from Fayetteville and an hour from Wilmington and Raleigh
- Regional airport offered in Fayetteville and International airport offered in Raleigh
