Position Details:
- Specialty: Emergency Medicine
- Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialed
- Assignment: Ongoing through 2027
- Coverage Needed: Full-time; minimum of 3 weeks per month
- Shifts: Varied shifts, including:
- 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
- 2:00 PM–11:00 PM
- 6:00 PM–3:00 AM
- 10:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- EMR: Epic
- Patient Volume: Approximately 8–14 patients per day
- Patient Population: Primarily medical cases with low trauma and medium-to-high acuity
- Support Staff: RNs
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
- Active Washington medical license
- Emergency Medicine residency/fellowship required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA required
- Clean background and malpractice history
- Must be willing and able to work varied shifts based on facility needs
- Must be available for full-time coverage
- IMLC is not accepted for this opportunity
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, treating, and dispositioning emergency patients
- Managing a broad range of emergency conditions
- Collaborating with attending physicians and other care teams
- Communicating effectively with consultants, hospitalists, and other providers
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
Credentialing: Emergency/Temporary Privileges available, allowing for an expedited start once credentialing requirements are completed.
