The Emergency Medicine locums position in California…
-Location: Los Angeles, CA
-Duration: November – ongoing
-Schedule: 5-12 shifts per month (minimum of 5 shifts per month required)
-Shift: 7a-7p
-Call: none
-Scope: cancer treatment related conditions
1) on-site evaluation, management, and treatment of adult patients requiring urgent medical attention,
2) determining appropriate dispositions (discharge, observation, or admission)
3) initiating admissions with appropriate orders and communication when necessary.
4) rapid response both in the clinic (that is in the hospital), on the floor and in the ETC
5) most procedures will be for intubations
-EMR: Epic
-Hospital: 200 beds
-Required: Board certified in Emergency Medicine with a California license and California DEA
*Mileage, Hotel, and Malpractice - PAID for locum opportunities*
*Assistance with credentialing provided – estimated 60 days *
