We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine physician for a PRN position to join INSIGHT Chicago and Medical Center Chicago. Independent Contractor (1099) status. Includes a robust package including a competitive hourly rate with RVU incentives, paid medical malpractice, and partnership
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
INSIGHT Chicago and Medical Center Chicago provides 24/7/365 coverage and staff with board-certified emergency medicine physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. We are a primary stroke center, utilize Cerner as our EMR and are staffed with excellent specialty backup, including interventional vascular radiology and neurosurgery, supportive nursing staff and administrative staff.
Emergency Department Statistics
- 32,000 visits annuall
- Certified Primary Stroke Cente
- 25 emergency room beds, including ten fast-track beds, two assessment rooms, 1 EKG/lab room, two triage rooms, six ambulance bay
- Flexible scheduling including 8-hour shift
- 32-hours of MD coverage and 24/7 coverage with a swing shift during peak hours for APP coverag
- Low acuity patient
- Cardiac catheterization lab onsit
- Orthopedic treatment and surger
- Internal Medicine residency programs onsite
