We're partnering with a hospital in La Porte, IN seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM/AOBEM) for a long-term locum tenens opportunity with an immediate start.
Opportunity Highlights
- Long-term assignment (6+ months)
- Up to 14 shifts per month
- Flexible day and night 12-hour shifts
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Cerner EMR
- Pending state license accepted during credentialing
- Full privileges typically completed in 90–120 days
Practice Details
- Community hospital setting
- 18-bed Emergency Department
- Approximately 1.5 patients per hour
- No scribe services
- Mix of day and night coverage available
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- 1–3 years of Emergency Medicine experience
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS required
- Emergency Medicine–trained physicians only
