Overview

Assignment Details

Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute and emergent medical conditions
- Perform emergency medicine procedures as clinically indicated
- Stabilize critically ill and injured patients
- Collaborate with consulting specialists and hospital staff
- Complete required clinical documentation
Requirements
- Board Certification preferred (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, AOBEM, AOBFM, or AOBIM)
- Completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience
- Active, unrestricted Mississippi medical license
- Active Mississippi DEA registration
- ACLS (AHA), ATLS, and PALS required (BLS required unless Emergency Medicine boarded)
- Case logs and CME documentation from the past two years
- Ability to meet all credentialing and immunization requirements prior to start
