Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
Emergency Medicine physician coverage needed at a freestanding emergency department (FSED) with occasional coverage at a main facilityMust be BCEM boarded or have previous HCA experience
Board certification through IM, FP, or ABEM accepted; if not ABEM certified, must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department
12-hour shifts covering both AM and PM shifts
Single coverage model at the FSED; multi-provider coverage at the main facility
FSED consists of 12 bays with low to mid acuity patient mix; main facility consists of approximately 80 bays with mid to high acuity patient mix
Patient volume of approximately 2 to 2.5 patients per hour at peak volumes
ED admission rate of 8-10% at the FSED and approximately 30% at the main facility
No trauma center designation
Case logs required to demonstrate procedural proficiencies
Standard emergency department support staff provided
