Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
Emergency Medicine position covering Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) locations with occasional coverage at main facilityMust be BCEM boarded or have previous HCA experience
If not ABEM certified, must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting
Certifications accepted include IM, FP, or ABEM
Case logs required to demonstrate procedural proficiencies
12-hour shifts available covering both AM and PM coverage
FSED operates with 12 bays handling low to mid acuity patients with single provider coverage
Main facility operates with 80 bays handling mid to high acuity patients with multi-provider coverage
Patient volume averages 2 to 2.5 patients per hour at peak volumes
FSED admission rate is 8-10% with approximately 30% admission rate at the main facility
No trauma center designation on site
Nurse/APP triage available at main facility only, not at FSED locations
Duration of need is 6 to 12 months to start
