Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (BCEM) or have previous HCA experienceFellowship/certification requirements: Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or ABEM board certification
If not ABEM certified, must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting
Case logs required to demonstrate procedural proficiencies
Duration of need: 6-12 months to start
12-hour shifts available covering both AM and PM coverage
Patient volume of 2-2.5 patients per hour at peak volumes
Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) features 12 bays with low to mid acuity patient mix and single provider coverage
Main facility features 80 bays with mid to high acuity patient mix and multi-provider coverage
FSED admission rate of 8-10% and approximately 30% at the main facility
No trauma center designation
Standard emergency department support staff provided
Orientation includes 2 shadow days and 1 IT day with in-house orientation
