Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (BCEM) or have previous HCA experienceFellowship/certification requirements: IM, FP, or ABEM board certification
If not ABEM certified, must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting
Duration of need: 6-12 months to start
12-hour shifts available covering both AM and PM coverage
Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) features 12 bays with low to mid acuity patient mix and single provider coverage
Main facility features 80 bays with mid to high acuity patient mix and multi-provider coverage
Patient volume of 2-2.5 patients per hour at peak volumes
ED admission rate of 8-10% at FSED and approximately 30% at main facility
Case logs required to demonstrate procedural proficiencies
No trauma center designation
Nurse/APP triage for lower acuity patients available at main facility only
Standard emergency department support staff included
