A healthcare facility in Florida is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a one-year locum assignment. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with no call and the ability to practice in both a hospital emergency department and affiliated freestanding emergency departments.

Details

• Setting: Emergency Department
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Assignment Length: 1 year
• Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours only
• Variable day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• No call
• Minimum commitment of 8 shifts
• Opportunity to provide coverage at affiliated freestanding emergency departments
• One facility orientation plus 1–2 shadow shifts prior to independent practice

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical license
• Current DEA registration
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
• Recent Emergency Medicine experience in a comparable hospital setting
• Willingness to provide coverage at both the main emergency department and affiliated freestanding emergency departments
