Overview
- 96-bed Adult Emergency Department within one of the top 10 busiest EDs nationally
- Annual volume: ~140,000 adult and 40,000 pediatric cases
- 28% admission rate reflecting strong acuity
- 90 physician coverage hours daily, 110 hours of APP support
- Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 interventional cardiology & cardiac surgery
- Neurosurgery and robust hospitalist support
- Chest Pain & Stroke Center accreditation
- Separate Pediatric ED with 17 dedicated beds, 24 physician hours, and 20 APP hours daily
- Hospital-owned EMS system with an award-winning paramedic program

Academic Opportunity

Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Residency-trained in Emergency Medicine
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, team-based environment
- Interest in academics/teaching preferred but not required
