Position Overview

Schedule
- Night shifts only
- Shift Time: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Approximately 9 shifts per month
Practice Setting
- MD and APC staffing model
- Physician will supervise Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs)
- EMR: Allscripts
Facility Details
- Annual ED Volume: Approximately 13,400
- Hospital Beds: 25
- ED Beds: 10
- Patient Volume: Approximately 1.5 patients per hour
- Trauma Designation: None
Qualifications
Accepted Board Certifications:
- ABEM / AOBEM
- ABFM
- ABIM / AOBIM
The facility will accept:
- Emergency Medicine
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine physicians
Board Eligibility:
- Up to 5 years if not yet board certified
Emergency Medicine Experience:
- 1–3 years preferred
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
ATLS Requirement
- Providers must show proof they successfully completed ATLS at least once.
- The ATLS certification does not need to be current; expired documentation is acceptable.
If ACLS, BLS, or PALS are not current at the time credentialing begins, providers may still move forward but must obtain the required certifications within six months of receiving privileges.
Credentialing
- Average credentialing timeline: Approximately 90 days
- The facility will not process providers with a pending state license.
- Temporary or emergency privileges are generally not offered.
Exception: Temporary privileges may be considered if there is an immediate staffing need and the provider has a clean credentialing file.
