Seeking a Locums Physician (MD) to staff a freestanding emergency department (FSED) / ED & Urgent Care setting in the Radcliff, KY area (on-site). This is a new service “go-live” currently scheduled for September 14, 2026, and providers must be able to complete credentialing/onboarding requirements prior to start.
Credentialing timeframe: typically 60–90 days once a completed application and supporting documents are received.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform timely patient assessments and medical decision-making in an ED workflow
• Coordinate care with nursing and onsite support staff; ensure appropriate transfers/escalations when needed
• Document care clearly and meet all medical staff office (MSO) and credentialing requirements
• Maintain required life-support certifications and follow clinical protocols
Qualifications
• Board certification pathway (must meet at least one): ABEM or AOBEM
• Board certification pathway (must meet at least one): ABFM / ABIM / AOBFM / AOBIM with Emergency Medicine experience
• AHA BLS + PALS (required)
• ATLS required for non–EM-boarded MDs
Working Hours
• Shift model (12-hour coverage as provided):
• Days: 7:00a–7:00p
• Interview required as part of the process
Skills
• ED patient assessment, stabilization, and throughput management
• Proficiency aligned to required certifications (BLS/PALS ± ATLS as applicable)
• Clear, compliant documentation and ability to follow credentialing/onboarding workflows
• Team-based communication in a fast-paced ED environment
