Emergency Medicine-Northeast Florida
- Employed practice seeks a BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician to join their team
- Independent contractor model
- Compensation $240/hour AM, $250/hour Mid and $270/hour night plus bonus
- Earn up to $320/hour
- Production bonus paid quarterly
- Most shifts are 9 & 10 hours with occasional 12-hour shifts (Weekend/Holiday/Night participation expected
- Procedures: Endotracheal intubation, cricothyroidotomy, chest tube placement, central lines, IO placement, pericardiocentesis, needle thoracotomy, vaginal deliveries, laceration repairs, I&D, FB removal, full eye exam, POCUS/FAST exam and procedural sedation.
- Specialty backup
- No trauma designation
- ED Beds: hospital 30-50 FSED 16-25
- EMR: EPIC with PACS, Dragon dictation and AI scribes
- HUC unit secretary and Tech for splints/IV
- Annual ED volumes range from 20k-65k
- Productivity expectations: 1.6-2.6 pph
- Malpractice with tail
- International airport in town
