JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC in EM/FM/IM
• Licenses: Active LA License required (IMLC accepted)
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS & PALS required for FM/IM candidates
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM required
• Other Qualifications: Clean background and compliance with credentialing requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a 5-bed ED within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital.
• Manage and stabilize acute medical conditions, trauma, and cardiac emergencies.
• Interpret diagnostic studies including CT scans, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound.
• Coordinate with specialty backup (ICU, Radiology) for patient admissions and transfers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Ochsner EPIC EMR.
