Locum Tenens Job Details – Emergency Medicine | Corpus Christi, Texas

• Location: Corpus Christi, TX
• Setting: Free-standing Emergency Department (ED) — Emergency Medicine / ER physician role
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 24-hour day shifts
• Average Daily Census: 4–6 patients per day
• On-site Accommodations: Private room with bed, bathroom, lounge, and WiFi
• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment End Date: December 31, 2026

Required Qualifications – Emergency Medicine Physician

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted Texas medical license (required for Texas physician jobs)
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care
• Board certification not required
• Ability to complete a short credentialing packet upon arrival

Key Responsibilities – ER Doctor / Emergency Physician

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages in the ED
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and urgent medical conditions
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient ED flow
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the medical record
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain continuity of care with the care team
