JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  
• Licenses: Active unrestricted LA Medical License, DEA License w/ LA address, LA Controlled Substance & Supervising Physician License
  
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
  
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS
  
• Experience: Residency Completion in EM, FM or IM. New Grad Accepted.
  
• Other Qualifications: CME past 2 years, 10 hours Trauma/Stroke CMEs annually, case logs past 2 years
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 24-hour physician coverage in the Emergency Department, including acute medical and surgical care
  
• Supervise and oversee NP/PA coverage during 10-hour shifts
  
• Manage care for patients presenting with stroke, trauma, and other emergency conditions
  
• Complete required sedation modules during onboarding and reappointment
  
• Maintain compliance with all immunization, case log, and CME requirements
